Why this has never been done¶
There have been 10,000-piece NFT collections. There have been tokens airdropped to holders. There have been "mint and receive a token" experiments on other chains, run by teams who faked the count or quietly minted to themselves.
Nobody has ever asked ten thousand people to each bring a token into existence — and nobody has done it as the founding act of a new species.
Dehumain is not a collection. It is a population.
The problem with a chain's first year¶
A chain is only as alive as what happens on it. Look at any blockchain in its first year: thousands of tokens launched, the vast majority dead within a week.
- Mints by bots.
- Bundles by insiders.
- Volume manufactured to look like life.
The chain reads "active" on a dashboard and feels like a graveyard from the inside.
Every token is a human decision¶
We are not doing that.
Every token on Dehumain is a human decision. Someone chose to mint. Someone put their name on it. Someone holds DM-4,217 right now because they wanted to be part of a founding moment — not because a bot bought it in the same block it was created.
Ten thousand tokens. Ten thousand decisions. One chain that actually moved.
That is what history looks like when it is not faked.
